Directions:  GA 16 East from Eatonton to Oconee Springs Road and right to Rockville Road and Rockville School and St. Paul’s Church to Oconee Springs Park and return. Another loop through the rural countryside via Oconee Springs Road to Rockville Road to the school and church.

Rockville Academy, built in 1889, is said to be the first consolidated rural school in Georgia as well as the first standard and vocational rural school in the state. The adjacent Carpenter Italianate/Greek Revival style St. Paul’s Church dates to 1871. Continue south to Spring Road and Oconee Springs Park for camping, boating and fishing.
